Why does Apple reject PNG screenshots with alpha channels?
Apple App Store Connect automated ingest validation requires 24-bit opaque RGB PNG files without an alpha transparency layer. App Shots Studio automatically strips alpha channels during export to ensure 100% compliance.
What is the maximum file size allowed by Apple and Google?
Apple App Store Connect permits files up to 50 MB per screenshot. Google Play Console allows files up to 8 MB. App Shots Studio's exported 24-bit PNGs typically range between 1.2 MB and 2.8 MB, well below all limits.
Can I export in JPEG format instead of PNG?
Both Apple and Google accept high-quality JPEG and 24-bit PNG files. We recommend 24-bit PNG as it preserves crisp typography and avoids JPEG compression artifacting around device edges.

How does the Panoramic Background mode work?
Panoramic mode calculates a single continuous linear gradient spanning across all 4, 8, or 10 slides in your pack. When exported, the right edge of slide 1 seamlessly matches the left edge of slide 2, encouraging users to swipe through your store carousel.
How do I highlight specific words in my headlines?
Simply wrap any word in asterisks (e.g., Track Your *Expenses*). The generator will automatically style those words with your active brand accent color.
Can I download all screenshots in my pack at once?
Yes! Click the "Export All Screenshots" button in the sidebar. App Shots Studio will automatically loop through every slide and trigger individual high-resolution downloads spaced safely to prevent browser thread locking.
Why don't the hardware bezels have a pre-baked Dynamic Island?
Physical iPhone captures and Xcode simulator screenshots already have the native Dynamic Island and status bar rendered into the pixels. Leaving the bezel screen interior 100% transparent avoids double-cutout misalignment issues.
